Ok before you get the wrong idea I'm NOT asking you to share your secret meanings!!

I know a lot of gyms/teams have secret meanings/sayings that once you cheer for them you get to find out what it means. Example I think most people recognize is the Cheer Athletics G3FCA2A. I unfortunately never got to be on a team/gym that had one :(. I do however want to start one with the team I coach. Only problem is I don't even have a clue of what they typically stand for or where to start. I'm not asking anyone to share their exact one, but could anyone give me a made up example to go off of?

Cheer Extreme have some but it typically goes by teams and not necessarily the whole entire gym.

You can take something out of the team's music! But like put it in a secret code so only you all know what it means. Idk if I worded that right.. haha

I'm sure that if someone tried hard enough, they could find someone to leak what the technical meaning of G3FCA2A is. We have probably had "the speech" with several thousand people by now. We tell everyone to keep it to themselves, but nothing can really be that secret if thousands of people know it. However, knowing what the letters stand for and really "KNOWING" what it means to the athletes is not the same thing.

I would encourage people to either not seek out the meaning of this (or any other gyms') saying or at least not share it if you do know.

I'm not trying to find out what anyones secrets are, just looking for a general idea. I used the CA one because I think a lot of people know of it (not necessarily what it means, just about it.) Like you said they mean something to the athletes and its something I would like to start with my team, just really have no clue where to even start with making one!

    I agree with @BlueCat
I've not told anyone what G3FCA2A means, but I know other girls have, and the people who they tell it to won't ever fully understand it until they've had "the Speech" and have been a part of CA.

Anyways, I have no clue who made up G3FCA2A, and I would never be able to make up something that good(; Sorry, wish I was more helpful!

Many teams have acronyms or sayings that are special to those specific kids. Some may be very covert and others more obvious. Tealstrong was one used last year by our large ltd team "Teal" that came from Galatians. It immediately gained notorierty, however I am not sure anyone knew the real impact of it except the kids on the team themselves. I encourage you to find that phrase that hits at the heart of your team whether it's a secret or more obvious.

Some of the ACX team names this season are acronyms. Senior Open 5 is GYST, Junior 3 is DREAM and Senior 3 from Charleston is D&G. From what I know, only the kids on the team know what it means.

On one of CA's shirts they had a π (pi) sign on the back of their yellow shirts and that was a secret too! I really don't wanna be one of those people that get in everyone's business but its killing me!
